Product Director

Summary

Join Pismo, a leading techfin company, as a Product Director responsible for overseeing the Banking, Seller Management, Cross Core, and Investments teams. You will define and drive the global product vision and strategy for these key areas, leading and mentoring multiple product squads. This role requires a deep understanding of alternative payment methods and core banking platforms, along with strong technical and communication skills. You will manage the entire product lifecycle, collaborate with various teams, and establish key performance indicators to measure success. Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with alternative payment methods (ex.: FedNow, RTP, Zelle, Venmo, FPS, SEPA, BACS,  "On-us", digital wallets, "pay-by-bank") and core banking platforms (current/checking accounts), staying abreast of industry trends
• Strong technical background with a track record of successfully managing complex, API-driven products
• Great communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and technological landscape

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global product vision and strategy for Pismo’s banking platform, Seller Management and Assets/Depositary products
• Lead and mentor multiple product tribes/squads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring quality from a functional and non-functional perspective
• Understand our market, including regulatory aspects, trends, benchmarks, competitive landscape  and customer needs, to drive innovation and ensure that our platform remains at the forefront of the industry
• Work closely with the Portfolio team, ensuring that product developments are aligned with Pismo`s strategic priorities
• Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams, providing technical expertise to drive successful product demonstrations and client engagements
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
