Summary

Join our team as a Content Creator to support ArcGIS imagery software products by making useful and relevant resources which communicate and educate ArcGIS users. In this role, you will work with development and product engineer leads in designing, creating, and publishing content, such as documentation, recommended workflows, videos, blogs, use case studies, and other media.

Requirements

  • Portfolio Submission: Showcasing your creative work, including educational resources in the form of graphic designs, posters, blogs, videos, etc
  • 2+ years of GIS and/or remote sensing/image processing and/or photogrammetry/image analysis experience
  • 1+ year of experience with ArcGIS products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at distilling complex topics into understandable software documentation
  • Proficiency in conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to create useful content which helps others be successful with ArcGIS
  • Ability to create tests to verify discrete functionality and specific workflow capabilities
  • Ability to manage detailed information and multi-task
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, geography, remote sensing, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Review and edit imagery workflows and solutions documentation and technical papers
  • Write and publish articles on ArcGIS Blog focusing on imagery and remote sensing
  • Design, author, and publish tutorials, "How To," "Shorts", and workflow videos for platforms, such as YouTube
  • Review and respond to imagery and remote sensing questions on ArcGIS forums and at conferences
  • Work with the Esri Story Maps team to define topics for imagery related stories
  • Work with the ArcGIS Living Atlas team to define imagery related cartographic web maps
  • Work with the Esri Tutorials team to help design new imagery related tutorials and tutorial series
  • Work with the Esri Academy team to write and develop labs and courses
