Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience ideally focused on data platforms, infrastructure, or cloud-based data solutions
  • Experience working with large-scale data systems, data lake architectures, and distributed data processing
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and scalable data storage solutions
  • Ability to engage with engineering teams and data architects to make informed technical decisions
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define and track key infrastructure performance metrics
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical field

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VP of Product and Engineering to define and execute the product strategy for Nextech’s data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency
  • Work closely with engineering, data architects, and infrastructure teams to develop and enhance data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing frameworks
  • Prioritize data integration, accessibility, and performance enhancements to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Partner with data engineering teams to ensure best practices in data modeling, data ingestion, and ETL/ELT workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across reporting, analytics, and AI teams to align infrastructure investments with business priorities
  • Evaluate and recommend data technologies, governance tools, and architectural improvements to enhance performance and reliability
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, translating data infrastructure needs into product requirements
  • Communicate roadmap updates, technical priorities, and trade-offs to executive leadership and engineering teams
  • Develop clear documentation and technical specifications for data infrastructure capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms, data governance, and data security best practices
  • Familiarity with modern data lake and warehouse architecture
  • Knowledge of data observability and performance monitoring tools
