Join the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) iHarbor Innovation Center as a Product Manager to leverage your expertise in user-centric design and market trends. You will drive the success of internally-developed digital health products, ensuring they meet customer needs. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering. Information Technology. Mathematics/Statistics, Physical or Life sciences, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 3+ years of experience in technology, so Aware, or medical device product management
- Familiarity with and understanding of software engineering principles related to software development. Al/machine learning, and digital health technologies in production systems
- Working knowledge and understanding of big data platforms, enterprise data lake principles, and ETL solutions
- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment while building extensible and scalable solutions
- Comfortable at influencing without authority. Capable of taking analytical insights and tying them to effective framing to drive high-quality decisions by our business partners
- Effective skill in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization
- Effective skill communication with all levels of leadership and staff
- Project management skills, including effective planning, organizing, and administration of multifunctional work responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop product requirements based on internal and external client feedback, direct observation, and assessment of industry trends regarding the quality, design, experience, and value of products currently in the market
- Collaborate with leadership to drive the strategy, development, and execution of software, AI/machine learning, process automation, and digital health products
- Identify new markets and new product opportunities and communicate to leadership and other relevant stakeholders
- Champion collaboration with teams across the programs/portfolio to identify product needs and deliver solutions to advance medium and long-term technology goals
- Develop situational and internal assessments, competitive overview, strategic goals, portfolio objectives, and action plans
- Lead and prioritize product efforts across a portfolio of products or programs and draw connections across siloed workflows
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding assigned products, showing responsiveness to questions, ideas, and feedback from internal and external partners
- Collaborate with development teams and customer-facing groups to execute new product releases
- Lead product release planning exercises and prioritization of new and enhanced product features and functionality
- Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions (e.g... Scrum in Agile)
- Communicate technical requirements to developers and engineers; ensure that product and process teams understand the data and setup requirements; coordinate required security and other audits
- Lead daily or weekly huddles with developers and engineers to monitor the progress of product release tasks
- Partner with developers and engineers to optimize and adapt systems and technologies for scalable, and efficient performance
- Partner with developers and engineers to conduct tests, experiments, and evaluations to assess product performance
- Perform product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Implementation Specialists to ensure the product meets the needs of the customer
- Support business development and marketing teams by providing product information materials (c.g., case studies, customer videos, etc.) to foster closing of sales as needed
- Serve as a resource to the sales and product implementation teams for online/onsite demonstrations of product
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Pay Range: $51.82-$77.78
