Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, Materials Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in product analysis, teardown, or quality assurance, with a focus on apparel, accessories, and/or home goods
• Experience in integrating lab results with reviews, returns data, and customer survey data
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to product performance improvements and cost reductions through design-to-value techniques
• Strong analytical skills with good communication, presentation, and project management abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the product teardown lab by disassembling and evaluating products to compare features and identify differences
• Conduct analyses of materials, construction, and design elements to uncover opportunities for improving quality and finding cost-saving measures
• Collaborate with Product Development and Merchant teams to support the translation of findings into actionable recommendations for product improvements
• Help develop and maintain standardized procedures for product teardown and analysis, ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to help ensure our products meet or exceed market standards
