Join Zigzag as a Programmatic Manager/Ad Ops Manager and own the entire lifecycle of client campaigns, from initial brief to final performance optimization. You will leverage your expertise in leading SSPs and DSPs to ensure smooth campaign launches, efficient scaling, and outstanding results. Key responsibilities include deal setup, audience building, technical configuration, platform deployment, performance monitoring, and client support. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in technical account management or programmatic trading, along with deep expertise in various DSPs and SSPs. Strong troubleshooting skills, commercial acumen, and excellent communication are essential. The role requires a passion for programmatic media, a focus on continuous improvement, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of hands-on Technical Account Management or Programmatic Trading experience
- Deep expertise with DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon) and SSPs (OpenX, PubMatic, Index Exchange)
- Proficiency in ad tags, pixels, tracking URLs, bid strategies, and campaign QA processes
- Strong troubleshooting skills across the full programmatic ecosystem
- Commercial acumen—balancing performance optimization with margin protection
- Excellent communication—able to translate technical concepts for clients and cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Deal Setup & Audience Build Build audience segments in ONE (our AI platform) based on client specifications
- Generate and name PMP Deal IDs automatically
- Curate inventory packages aligned to target segments
- Technical Configuration & QA Implement and verify ad tags, pixels, and tracking URLs across platforms
- Execute campaign QA checklists and secure internal sign-off
- Platform Deployment & Troubleshooting (SSP/DSP) Configure, test, and troubleshoot SSP integrations and inventory feeds
- Deploy deals into DSP seats and monitor for setup errors
- Troubleshoot integration issues across DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon) and SSPs (OpenX, PubMatic, Index Exchange)
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization Monitor live campaign metrics daily and produce performance reports
- Identify under-delivery or sub-optimal win-rates and adjust bids, caps, and inventory mix accordingly
- Margin Management Track campaign margin versus target and propose optimizations to protect profitability
- Client Escalations & Support Serve as first-line technical support for delivery issues, escalating complex cases to Engineering
- Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing Research, document, and publish new curation and optimization techniques into the TAM Handbook
- Share best practices and train peers on emerging programmatic technologies
