Programme Manager

Summary

Join INSTANDA as a Programme Manager and lead the delivery of large, complex projects for enterprise clients. You will manage multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time and within-budget project completion. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and collaboration with Tier 1 System Integrators. Based primarily remotely in the UK with some travel to the London office, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, driving continuous improvement and fostering long-term partnerships. You will also manage the delivery P&L, ensuring financial targets are met. The position involves coaching and mentoring project teams and adhering to INSTANDA's information security policies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in leading complex enterprise programmes, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
• Proven track record of managing delivery P&L and working with Tier 1 SIs
• A Leadership mentality with the ability to grow and develop talent
• Experience in delivering digital products using Agile methodology
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Experienced managing multiple priorities while managing clear communication with all stakeholders
• Experience in a client facing role demonstrating excellent relationship building skills with a knack to managing difficult messages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record in expressing technical concepts in everyday language
• Experience of People Management

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and time zones, ensuring alignment and accountability
• Establish and maintain appropriate governance structures and delivery models tailored to enterprise client needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, fostering long-term strategic partnerships
• Collaborate closely with Tier 1 System Integrators (SIs) to ensure seamless delivery and integration
• Own and manage the delivery P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maintained
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across programmes to enhance delivery efficiency and client satisfaction
• Responsible for ensuring the timely production of client contracts that accurately represent scope of implementation and associated baselined plans
• Work closely with the sales and accounts teams to provide accurate and timely support of new business or growth opportunities, including estimates and scope
• Coach, mentor and motivate Project Teams and Project Managers
• Adhere to INSTANDA’s information security policies, guidelines and best practices to protect our company and our clients
• Contribute to a culture of security awareness within the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a start-up or fast paced technology focused company
• Experience in migrating books of business / data migration
