Programmer Analyst II

Summary

The job is a Direct Hire/FTE Position for a software developer with 5+ years of experience. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining programs, applications, and databases using designated programming languages and architecture. The position is remote-only within the United States, offering a salary range between $70,000 and $100,000 per year.

Requirements

• 5 years or more of programming experience
• Proficiency in AS400 iSeries, Microsoft SQL Server, COBOL, RPG and/or RPG FREE
• Ability to read and follow project documents and plans
• Experience in database design and development skills
• Experience in enterprise software background
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain or rewrite software for any division or external clients as determined by the VP of Information Services and as directed by the Director of Data Development
• Develop new applications for internal use as directed
• Assists or leads other team members as needed
• Provide weekly updates on project accomplishments to Director of Data Development
• Learn and utilize new programming languages, methods, platforms and techniques as requested
• Track project time using designated software
• Ensure data integrity, accountability and confidentiality of medical data
• Engaged in continuous quality improvement through participation in staff meetings and providing feedback on an annual basis

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Healthcare Claims platforms, Eligibility modules specifically, a plus
