Summary
Join Canva's Space Creation Team as a Project Coordinator and contribute to the design and construction of high-performance workplace projects. This 6-month, full-time contract role offers remote work flexibility from various locations. You will manage commercial fit-outs and new office spaces, ensuring they align with Canva's brand and culture. The ideal candidate possesses experience in project coordination, contract administration, and construction project management. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Requirements
- You have experience in project coordination, contract administration, or assistant project management within the construction or commercial fit-out industry
- You have experience from client-side or contractor-side
- You have demonstrated ability to deliver projects in occupied workplace environments
- You have familiarity with construction contract frameworks including AS 4905, AS 4915, AS 4000
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and construction management platforms such as Procore and Aconex
- You have excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- You have a proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline
- We’re looking for a motivated individual who is able to take responsibility for tasks and can work independently, as well as working well within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial fit-outs and new office spaces that reflect Canva’s unique brand and workplace culture
- Gain hands-on experience delivering high-impact workplace projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, balancing design intent with operational needs
- Develop strong cross-functional collaboration skills by working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants across all stages of the project lifecycle
- Build deep knowledge of end-to-end project delivery, from feasibility and procurement through to construction, handover, and post-occupancy review
