Project Finance Accountant

Summary

Join our team as a Project Finance Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract! You will collaborate with the Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure project profitability and billability by providing timely financial information and managing client project financials. Daily responsibilities include updating the Oracle Fusion system with accurate financial data and supporting the FP&A team's reporting needs. This role requires strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and accounting software, along with excellent communication and attention to detail. Requirements

• Previous accounting or finance experience, coupled with an accounting and finance educational background
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Proactive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (with finance and non-finance colleagues) and strong attention to detail skills
• Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach to work

Responsibilities

• Carries out client invoicing for various clients in line with varying and tight deadlines
• Updates contracts in the Oracle system, ensuring accuracy to commercial terms
• Provides status updates on projects
• Assisting with project reconciliations by working with the client services teams
• Ensuring all time movements in the Oracle are carried out for reconciliations in a timely manner
• Assists in managing client and other invoicing trackers
• Provides training to the business on financial compliance and procedures
• Provides training to the business on the Oracle system
• Provides the working capital team with ad hoc assistance
• Ensures that confidentiality and compliance with internal firewalls are always maintained
