Delivery Associates
Summary
Join Delivery Associates, a global social impact consultancy, as a Project Leader in Sub-Saharan Africa. You will collaborate with governments to design and implement strategies aligning with policy commitments. Lead consulting teams, support project delivery, and enhance policy outcomes by formulating recommendations. This role requires strong analytical and program management skills, along with experience working with senior government officials. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field, an advanced degree is a plus
- 8+ years years of relevant experience in the public sector, at consulting firms or international organizations with demonstrable client-facing delivery
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and/or programme management experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with business-level proficiency in both English and French
- Must have existing right-to-work documentation for Africa
- Based or willing to relocate to Sub-Saharan countries with a willingness to develop Delivery Associates’ activities across the continent
Responsibilities
- Work with governments and donors, engaging senior leaders in public sectors on their most complex challenges by building capabilities for delivering priority projects and informing data-driven decision-making with Deliverology®
- Lead and drive impact for our clients across multiple workstreams including day-to-day execution of projects while guiding and coaching client teams to deliver and sustain concrete results
- Facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across silos
- Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and engagement pieces for the client and the leadership of Delivery Associates
- Lead interactive workshops with stakeholders and deliver high-quality training sessions to groups of trainees
- Take ownership in building internal assets, including business development, recruitment, IP development, etc
Preferred Qualifications
- Sector expertise in one or more industries within Africa is a plus
- Knowledge of specific policy fields, such as agriculture, health, education, climate, or international development, is desirable
