Summary
Join ThinkCERCA, a leader in AI-powered learning solutions, as a Prompt Engineer & Web Developer. You will collaborate with the Data Science team to design, test, and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs), build and iterate on AI-powered web applications using JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar), and integrate AI functionality into ThinkCERCA's tools using APIs from providers like OpenAI and Anthropic. This role requires strong communication skills to liaise between the Data Science team and other departments, presenting work and gathering requirements. You will also develop and maintain a web presence for the Data Science team and create technical documentation. Requirements
- Familiarity with AI/ML models, APIs, and tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face
- Experience in prompt engineering, with an understanding of LLMs and AI model behavior
- Strong JavaScript skills with experience in front-end web development (React, Vue, or similar frameworks)
- Experience with backend development (Python or similar) to support AI integrations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to quickly prototype and iterate based on feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs) to improve student learning and teacher workflows
- Build and iterate on AI-powered web applications using JavaScript (React, Vue, or similar frameworks)
- Use APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or other AI providers to integrate AI-driven functionality into ThinkCERCA's tools
- Serve as a liaison between the DS team and other departments, presenting work, collecting requirements, and ensuring stakeholder needs are met
- Develop and maintain a web presence for the Data Science team, create technical documentation for AI prototypes, and assist with product updates and release notes
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in education technology (EdTech) or familiarity with K-12 instructional environments
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for AI-powered applications
