Remote Proposal Technical Writer/Solutioner

Summary

AnaVation is seeking a hybrid Proposal Technical Writer/Solutioner to join their Business Development Team. The role involves developing proposals, white papers, and other content, supporting capture managers and proposal managers, and analyzing RFP/RFI requirements. Required qualifications are a Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of technical writing experience, and relevant experience as a Volume Lead or Lead Technical Proposal Writer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical/Scientific/Engineering Disciplines, Business Administration, English, Journalism, or a related technical or business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
• 5+ years of technical writing for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience
• Experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Technical Proposal Writer

Responsibilities

• Serve as Volume Lead and/or Lead Writer for Technical, Management, and Past Performance Volumes of classified and non-classified proposals across all AnaVation accounts and technical capabilities
• Develop RFI and White Paper responses
• Work closely with Engineers and Subject Matter Experts and operations staff to collect data required for the development of Technical Volumes
• Write, edit, and revise proposal materials and coordinate with technical and program personnel to ensure accuracy
• Analyze RFP/RFI requirements and participate in solution meetings
• Participate in color team reviews
• Participate in the continuing quality improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing Technical Volumes in support of Law Enforcement/IC customers preferred
• Active TS Security Clearance
• PMP, Agile, or ITIL
