Summary
Control Risks is hiring a Protective Design Engineer to implement a risk-based protective design program for their client's global new construction portfolio. The candidate should have strong knowledge in security risk management, security design, and project delivery processes. A bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering (civil, structural) with 7+ years of relevant work experience is required, or a bachelor's degree in a security-related field with 7+ years of experience in technical and/or physical security design.

Responsibilities
- Design a risk-based methodology for implementing protective security measures into the design of all new construction projects within the clientโs global portfolio
- Ensure that all protective design requirements and CPTED standards are integrated into the design of all new construction projects
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand and implement the clientโs physical security standards into all new construction projects
- Provide recommendations for security enhancements based on risk level, in accordance with the programโs risk-based methodology
- Develop a playbook that outlines security requirements for new construction based on facility type and risk levels
- Concisely articulate the impact of identified risks and appropriate mitigation measures for non-technical audiences and senior client stakeholders
