Join Mantra Health, a leading provider of student mental health services, as a Michigan-licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This fully remote, 1099 position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own hours (minimum 5 hours per week) between 9 am and 9 pm ET weekdays or 9 am and 5 pm ET weekends. You will conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management for college students, collaborating with a supportive team and utilizing our comprehensive telehealth platform. Compensation is based on a per-session rate, with additional pay for meetings and no-shows. Requirements

• Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Michigan
• Possess 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting
• Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders
• Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups
• Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios
• Equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments
• Engage with patients through our collaboration portal
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers
• Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination
• Partner with our care navigation team to support students
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary

Preferred Qualifications
