Summary

Included Health is seeking a Remote Psychiatrist to join their team and provide virtual mental health services. The psychiatrist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients via video-based visits, manage psychotropic medications, develop treatment plans, and maintain patient records. The position requires completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program, ABPN Board-certification in Psychiatry, an active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the home state, strong communication skills, and up-to-date continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Completion of ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program
• ABPN Board-certified in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in home state required
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Keep up-to-date with continuing medical education

Responsibilities

• Assess patients via a video-based encounter
• Perform virtual comprehensive mental health evaluations, compile patient medical data, including health history and mental status examination findings
• Psychotropic medication management including evaluation of patient medical history, as well as medication response, adherence and tolerability for each individual patient treated
• Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans, evaluate results of mental health assessments, and provide med management to patients
• Collect, record and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history and reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to treat all ages preferred
• Multi-state licensure preferred

Benefits

The United States compensation for this independent contractor position is $200 per visit hour
