Summary

Join Included Health as a Remote Psychiatrist and contribute to our mission of improving healthcare accessibility. This full-time (30 hours/week) role involves providing virtual mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment using video-based encounters. You will manage psychotropic medications, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The position requires ABPN board certification in Adult Psychiatry, an active medical license, and strong communication skills. We offer a competitive salary ($184,500-$259,900), comprehensive benefits, and a remote-first culture. Based on operational needs, we are looking to establish a business relationship with a psychiatrist licensed in several states.

Requirements

• Completion of ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
• ABPN Board-certified in Adult Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence required
• Keep up-to-date with continuing medical education
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Basic understanding and working knowledge of Google Suite tools. Proficient with Chrome or equivalent web browsers and Internet Explorer
• Ability to navigate video-conferencing platforms, and adapt and learn new technology, including telemedicine platforms

Responsibilities

• Assess patients via a video-based encounter
• Perform virtual comprehensive mental health evaluations, compile patient medical data, including health history and mental status examination findings
• Psychotropic medication management including evaluation of patient medical history, as well as medication response, adherence and tolerability for each individual patient treated
• Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans, evaluate results of mental health assessments, and provide med management to patients
• Collect, record and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history and reports
