Summary

innovaTel is hiring a full-time remote Psychiatrist for a pediatric telehealth role at a children’s hospital in the Philadelphia area. The position involves providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and patient care through telehealth. Expected hours are 40 per week.

Requirements

• Active Doctorate (MD / DO) Required
• Active New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania medical licenses. in good standing
• Board Certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
• Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients

Responsibilities

• Provide effective management of psychiatric care including initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management reviews in accordance with established clinical guidelines
• Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients exclusively through the telehealth modality
• Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care
• Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the on-site clinical team
• Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by compliance standards
• Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania
• Ability to be on-site on a very occasional basis in the Philadelphia area
• Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
• Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
