Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the federal and state legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to the financial services industry and Pathward
• Conduct research and analysis of legislative proposals and rules promulgated by the regulatory agencies
• Distill complex issues for a variety of audiences
• Recommend and contribute to the development of materials in support of Pathward’s public policy focus, including white papers, talking points, and reporting updates
• Support organizational efforts to communicate and advocate important issues and priorities with legislators and regulators
• Lead Pathward’s PAC engagement strategy
• Assist in planning events and other activities to support organization policy objectives
• Collaborate with internal and external colleagues at the direction of department leadership on assignments and tasks
• Engage with legislators, regulators, and industry influencers at in-person and virtual events

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience at a bank, federal banking agency, or related trade association is preferred
