Publicist, Public Relations Specialist

You will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies, managing the company's brand image, creating compelling content, and building media relationships. This is a remote, flexible part-time to full-time position offering equity-based compensation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience, and strong communication and relationship-building skills. We offer flexible hours and the opportunity to work between 15 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build media relationships
• Experience in creating and executing communication strategies
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects effectively
• Proficiency with PR and marketing tools such as media databases, social media platforms, and analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies that align with SOULCHI's goals and objectives
• Position the company as a force for positive change through thought leadership and brand storytelling
• Maintain and enhance SOULCHI's brand image and reputation
• Ensure all communications reflect the company's values, authenticity, and mission
• Craft press releases, media kits, and other communication materials
• Develop impactful messaging that captures the essence of our mission and resonates with diverse audiences
• Build and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
• Secure media coverage and thought leadership opportunities
• Plan and execute events and campaigns that promote SOULCHI’s mission and engage the community
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign success
