Python Software Engineer

Summary

Scorpion is seeking a Python Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer with 3+ years of experience to develop data-intensive AI microservices and integrate them with front-end applications. The role requires advanced Python skills, Microsoft Azure experience, focus on cloud-based SaaS application development, experience with SQL, Spark or PySpark, NoSQL, agile software development environment, high throughput / low latency APIs, and some exposure to generative AI, machine learning, MLOps, LLMOps. Requirements

• 3+ years professional software engineering experience
• Advanced Python skills
• Microsoft Azure experience
• Experience with SOA architecture (ideally microservices) and serverless
• Focus on cloud-based SaaS application development
• Experience with SQL, Spark or PySpark, NoSQL
• Experience in an agile software development environment
• Experience developing high throughput / low latency APIs

Preferred Qualifications

Some exposure to generative AI (Large Language Models), machine learning, MLOps, LLMOps, or experience collaborating with AI engineers or data scientists
