Python Technical Lead & Solutions Architect

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development, with significant experience in Python
• Proficiency in Django
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with AWS
• Deep understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.)
• Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• Familiarity with AWS storage solutions (S3, EFS, Glacier)
• Knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, Route 53)
• Proficiency in AWS deployment and management tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Knowledge of database design, optimization, and management
• Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway)
• Understanding of security best practices in AWS (encryption, IAM policies, security groups)
• Experience with implementing security measures in Python applications (secure coding practices, data protection)
• Ability to make architectural decisions and communicate them effectively
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello)
• Proven experience in a tech lead or architect role

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with premier clients from the United States and Europe on digital solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GraphQL is a plus
