QA Architect

Requirements

• 12+ years of QA experience, with at least 4+ years as a QA Architect or Lead in a hands-on role
• Strong experience with Playwright, Puppeteer, Cypress, or Selenium (but prefer modern frameworks)
• Hands-on experience testing SPAs (Vue.js), and AWS-based services
• Strong focus on user-centric QA, integrating user scenarios and goals into test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Experience integrating QA automation with CI/CD (AWS Codepipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL testing)
• Deep understanding of AI-driven applications, including NLP, chatbots, and recommendation systems
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for automation

Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
• Introduce best practices for manual, automated, performance, security, and AI-driven testing
• Build and own the test automation framework using Playwright, Puppeteer, and other modern tools (not legacy frameworks)
• Define quality gates in CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases
• Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios across Salesforce, Vue.js, and AWS-hosted services
• Implement intelligent test execution strategies to optimize speed and reliability
• Perform exploratory, regression, and performance testing in an AI-driven environment
• Work closely with developers to ensure the testability of AI-driven features (e.g., chatbots, recommendation engines)
• Leverage Gen AI solution for test automation (e.g., AI-powered test case and data generation, anomaly detection)
• Design AI-powered automated exploratory testing solutions to simulate real-world user behavior
• Advocate for AI-first testing approaches within the organization
• Hire, mentor, and build a high-performance QA team
• Lead QA engineers with hands-on guidance - code reviews, best practices, and technical mentorship
• Define QA goals, metrics, and dashboards for visibility into test effectiveness and system quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in self-healing test automation using AI-powered tools
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications
• Prior experience working in fast-paced startups or scale-ups
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust)
• Experience with TestOps (monitoring test execution trends, auto-retrying flaky tests)
