Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance or software development role with a strong focus on test automation
- Deep experience with test automation in a modern tech stack, including proficiency in Python or TypeScript in a cloud environment
- Proven experience delivering software from concept through production, including contributing to CI/CD, monitoring, and operational support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- The working language at Kinetic is English
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient automated test scripts and frameworks
- Architect and implement the overall test automation strategy to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
- Participate in architecture and code reviews to ensure software is designed for testability, performance, and reliability
- Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous delivery
- Perform manual testing of new features to provide rapid feedback and inform the development of comprehensive automated regression suites
- Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, emphasizing root cause analysis
- Advocate for and implement best practices in testing and quality across the engineering team
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in product quality and testing processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Experience testing solutions built on AWS, serverless architectures, and various database technologies (SQL and no-SQL)
- Strong testing and documentation practices with examples of how you have solved testing challenges in the past
- Experience using Generative AI to enhance test cases and procedures
- Experience with performance, load, and security testing
