Summary

Join Airtm, a leading digital dollar account platform, as a Senior QA Engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our modern React-based web application. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria, validate features, and build robust automated tests. Your responsibilities include analyzing product specifications, clarifying requirements, implementing automated tests, manually testing new features, monitoring test coverage, contributing to CI/CD processes, and providing insightful bug reports. This fully remote role requires 5+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in a senior role, and expertise in testing web applications, APIs, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Location must be in South, North or Central America.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • Proven experience testing modern web applications, ideally built with React
  • Strong understanding of backend services, APIs (REST and GraphQL), and common failure scenarios
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and test environments
  • Ability to read and understand frontend and backend code when debugging or writing tests
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
  • Advanced / Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product specifications to derive comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and edge cases
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and regression tests
  • Manually test complex or new features before automation coverage is established
  • Monitor and improve test coverage and reliability over time
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating tests into our deployment pipeline
  • Raise the bar for quality through thoughtful bug reports, feedback, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with contract testing (e.g., Pact) or mocking frameworks
  • Background in performance or security testing
