QA Manager

Summary

Join Tech Holding, a full-service consulting firm, as an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives in our Mexico offices. You will manage and develop a team of QA professionals, define and implement QA processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires advanced expertise in test automation using tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress/Playwright. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of QA experience, including 5 years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required. Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in QA
• Must have a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position managing a team of QA professionals
• Must have advanced expertise in test automation, with proven experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and scripts
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in automation for Web, API and Native Mobile Apps
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex software quality issues
• Experience in developing and implementing QA metrics and reporting to drive continuous improvement
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for test automation in Jenkins or similar systems

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the QA team, including hiring, training, and developing team members
• Define and implement effective quality assurance processes and strategies, ensuring that they align with business goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain QA metrics to track and report on the effectiveness of quality assurance efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify risks, and establish testing plans
• Oversee the creation and execution of manual and automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress / Playwright to ensure quality delivery of software releases
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new testing methodologies
• Manage and maintain test environments, tools, and infrastructure
