Join Tech Holding as a Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Engineering and play a critical leadership role in shaping and advancing our Client's approach to software quality. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in quality assurance, automation, and Agile delivery models, acting as both a technical and cultural leader. You will guide the team in evolving processes, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle, and expanding automation frameworks. You'll work cross-functionally with various teams to enhance quality. This role requires a proven track record of scaling test automation, driving engineering-wide quality improvements, and modernizing legacy QA practices. Requirements
- 15 years of experience leading QA or quality engineering teams, including at least 3 years at the Sr. Manager or Director level
- Proven experience scaling test automation, driving engineering-wide quality improvements, and modernizing legacy QA practices
- Deep understanding of Agile development principles and the role of QA in high-performing, cross-functional teams
- Expertise with industry-standard automation tools and test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JUnit/TestNG)
- Strong proficiency in test strategy development for APIs, UIs, and performance/load testing
- Demonstrated success in driving quality accountability across engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and coach engineers across levels
- Data-driven mindset with experience setting, tracking, and reporting meaningful quality KPIs
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a long-term vision for quality engineering, aligning it with engineering, product and acquisition roadmaps
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and technical rigor
- Champion Agile testing practices including shift-left strategies, iterative delivery, and continuous feedback
- Drive adoption and continuous enhancement of test automation frameworks, CI/CD test integration, and performance testing tools
- Establish and track metrics and KPIs to guide decisions, surface risks early, and continuously improve quality outcomes
- Partner closely with cross-functional leaders to embed quality into the entire SDLCβfrom requirements through release
- Lead initiatives to improve test data management, test environments, and test coverage across platforms and services
- Own and evolve QA strategy for legacy modernization efforts and new cloud-native services
- Create clear documentation of QA standards, processes, and tool usage for internal alignment and onboarding
- Stay current with emerging testing tools and trends, bringing innovative ideas to the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading quality functions in the education industry
- Experience integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and testing in distributed environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Prior involvement in Agile transformations or scaling Agile QA practices in fast-growing organizations
- Strong technical writing skills for test plans, documentation, and onboarding resources
