Requirements
- At least 2 years of inspection experience in power generation, refining, petrochemical, or related industries
- Knowledge of ASME Codes and other standards governing repair, replacement, and modification activities
- Familiarity with receipt inspection processes, welding processes, and welder and weld procedure qualification
- Previous certification and ability to be certified at Level II VT, PT, MT & UTT methods and mechanical inspection activities
- High School diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training or relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface in a Code-compliant environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Perform and document inspection and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Review specifications, drawings, and reports to ensure quality requirements are accurately translated into work instructions
- Inspect incoming materials for compliance with customer contracts and purchase orders
- Work flexible hours, including day and night shifts as required
- Operate in a field-based role at power generation facilities, refineries, and chemical plants
- Travel regularly to different job sites
- Stand, kneel, and perform inspections for extended periods
- Perform light lifting (up to 50lbs)
