QA/QC Inspector

Requirements

• At least 2 years of inspection experience in power generation, refining, petrochemical, or related industries
• Knowledge of ASME Codes and other standards governing repair, replacement, and modification activities
• Familiarity with receipt inspection processes, welding processes, and welder and weld procedure qualification
• Previous certification and ability to be certified at Level II VT, PT, MT & UTT methods and mechanical inspection activities
• High School diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training or relevant experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface in a Code-compliant environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform and document inspection and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Review specifications, drawings, and reports to ensure quality requirements are accurately translated into work instructions
• Inspect incoming materials for compliance with customer contracts and purchase orders
• Work flexible hours, including day and night shifts as required
• Operate in a field-based role at power generation facilities, refineries, and chemical plants
• Travel regularly to different job sites
• Stand, kneel, and perform inspections for extended periods
• Perform light lifting (up to 50lbs)
