Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or comparable training, or at least five years of relevant professional experience
- At least three years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with comprehensive knowledge of manual and automated testing, including 2-3 years of experience in test automation
- Very good knowledge of test automation with tools such as Selenium and experience in API testing; programming skills, preferably in Java/Groovy
- Good knowledge in the use of test management systems and experience in agile work environments
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, solution orientation and high quality awareness. Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Fluent German skills and very good English skills (at least level B2)
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the refinement of epics and user stories and the definition of criteria to ensure testability and quality in agile processes such as Scrum or Kanban
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests using current frameworks such as Selenium and API tests to support Continuous Integration and Delivery processes
- Be responsible for an efficient and flexible test process, including the creation and maintenance of test plans and monitoring of test progress
- Regularly provide feedback to the team and stakeholders on the results of test executions, interpret test results, and monitor test coverage
- Coach team members to continuously improve testing skills and processes, and build test frameworks for special integrations and applications, e.g., MS Office and multi-window desktop applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with user acceptance testing is advantageous
- Knowledge of CI/CD platforms, especially GitLab, is advantageous
