Summary

The job is for a software developer intern or co-op at Tenet3 in Dayton, OH. The candidate will support research and development efforts on systems security engineering, platform information technology, and trusted and assured microelectronics. They will develop integration tests for the MeTRA® SaaS platform, gain experience with various technologies, and work with other team members using Gitlab.

Requirements

• Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance (Must be US Citizen)
• A work portfolio demonstrating clean, well-tested code (Github, Codepen, personal website or equivalent)
• Knowledge in a modern programming language (Java, Python, C# or equivalent)
• Ability to work in person in Dayton, OH
• Within a 1 hour commute of downtown Dayton
• Must be a student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar discipline. Minimum 3.5 GPA required

Responsibilities

• Develop cross-browser integration tests to verify behavior of the MeTRA® SaaS platform using Selenium, JavaScript and python
• Automate performance tests to ensure that applications scale as expected
• Integrate tests with our continuous integration system
• Coordinate development activities with other team members using Gitlab
• Work with frontend and backend developers to ensure software meets requirements and design specifications
• Support the QA lead to ensure that tests are fast, thorough and efficient

Preferred Qualifications

Gain experience with Django, React, Pixi (WebGL), PostGRESql, Docker and Amazon Web Services
