Summary

Join Avetta as a QHSE Audit Support Professional and guide clients and contractors through the pre-qualification and audit process. You will provide expert explanations and coaching on QHSE Audit requirements. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of safety experience focused on audits. A hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) may be offered to those within commuting distance of our Lehi, Dallas, or Houston offices; remote work may be considered for others. You will support customers, create audit resources, provide clarification on gap assessments, and coach contractors on policy development. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Have a proficient understanding of agencies such as EPA, MSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, ISO, etc
  • Have 2-3 years of industry QHSE experience
  • Possess aptitude for learning online software systems; working knowledge of PC systems, preferably Windows
  • Have excellent professional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, members, and other stakeholders
  • Have strong problem analysis and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have excellent time management skills; ability to work under intensive deadlines
  • Possess ability for conceptual thinking and understanding of other major areas of the company
  • Have understanding of sales, customer service, and business development to integrate concepts and theories
  • Have ability to communicate and integrate information effectively in both one-on-one and group settings

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive support and outreach for Avetta customers
  • Create and enhance Avetta audit resources
  • Provide clarification on gap assessments for contractor/supplier HSE management systems, programs, and protocols
  • Apply risk and hazard assessment methodologies across various industries serviced by Avetta (e.g., Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Communications, Facility Management, Construction, Mining, Aviation, Transportation, Marine/Maritime Operations, and Rail)
  • Coach contractors/suppliers in developing policies/procedures based on regulatory requirements
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Perform customer safety exposure and hazard verifications
  • Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints
  • Record details of actions taken
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • May be required to attend training, meetings, or seminars
  • Required to travel in the event of customer or client meetings
