Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, mathematics or similar field and 2+ years of experience as a QA
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript and SQL
• Skills in using Jira, Confluence and Git based development tools
• Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, Firebase
• Experience with REST API testing (e.g. Postman, Swagger)
• Performing smoke and regression testing for web and mobile applications
• Ability to create clear and thorough test documentation (test cases, test design, checklists, bug reports, etc.)
• Experience with both manual and automated testing
• Knowledge in developing test automations for mobile apps, websites and APIs based on Appium, Playwright and Cypress, or comparable tools
• Experience working in an engineering team
• Interest in data-driven business applications
• Good communication skills that are clear, open and concise, professional proficiency in English
• Interest in FinTech industry

Responsibilities

• Work as an engineer in an agile team with highly ambitious and skilled colleagues in our growing data department
• Work closely together with product owners, software engineers, other QA engineers as well as other engineering teams
• Bring products to production and reveal real business value
• Work with cutting edge technologies and be part of modern software development practices (e.g. agile teams, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling)
• Write test cases based on Xray
• Develop test automations for web, app and APIs with well-documented code
• Perform manual tests
