Requirements
- Electrical Engineering Fundamentals & Manufacturing Processes: Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in production to improve efficiency and product quality
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Continuous Improvement: Skills in optimizing designs for manufacturability and commitment to ongoing process improvements
- Project Management & Statistical Process Control (SPC): Competency in managing projects and utilizing SPC techniques for quality control
- Communication & Teamwork: Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent product quality
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure the manufacturability and quality of electrical components and assemblies
- Develop and optimize electrical assembly processes, including selecting and setting up equipment
- Implement strategies to improve product yield, reduce defects, and control manufacturing costs
- Oversee maintenance and calibration of electrical manufacturing equipment and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Establish and maintain quality control systems, provide technical training to production staff, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and practices
- Take ownership and drive initiatives from start to finish, focusing on scalability and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Construction industry as it relates to business processes or project management
- Experience in the Technology industry as it relates to software implementations and administration
- Experience in the Customer Service industry as it relates to software support
