Summary
Join our team as a talented QA Engineer and collaborate with various departments to drive quality assurance initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality by designing and executing tests to identify bugs and areas for improvement. You will work with developers and product managers to validate and refine software, creating seamless user experiences. Responsibilities include UI automation testing using Playwright, Selenium, and Appium; API testing with Postman and JMeter; and test case creation and documentation. Strong communication skills and experience with UI automation frameworks are essential. The position is remote, offering a competitive CTC of 22-24 LPA.
Requirements
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Have experience with Selenium
- Have familiarity with Postman for API testing
- Possess proven ability to write well-organized and detailed test cases, and to maintain clear documentation of test results and defects
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues in complex systems and suggest solutions
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests for web and mobile applications
- Work with Playwright to build automation frameworks, and apply your knowledge of Selenium and Appium for UI testing across different platforms (web and mobile)
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman for functional testing and JMeter for performance and load testing. Ensure seamless integration and performance under various conditions
- Write detailed test cases, document test results, and provide clear feedback on defects. Ensure test coverage is comprehensive, organized, and transparent for team members and management
- While not the primary focus, contribute to manual testing, especially in exploratory testing and problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience or enthusiasm for learning Playwright
- Have knowledge of Appium for mobile automation testing
- Have experience with JMeter for performance and load testing
- Have familiarity with unit testing frameworks
- Have prior manual testing experience
- Have familiarity with additional testing tools and methodologies
- Have experience with CI/CD integration for automated testing
- Have Agile/Scrum development experience
