Summary
Join REGENT's team as a Quality Engineering Intern to support data-driven decision-making and ensure product excellence across the organization. As an intern, you will assist in gathering and analyzing quality data, conduct internal audits and quality inspections, collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend process improvements, and maintain and update quality-related documentation.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong skills in data analysis and statistical methods (experience with Excel, Minitab, or other data analysis tools preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in your work
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a logical and analytical approach
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with different departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and analyzing quality data to monitor product performance, identify trends, and support root cause analysis efforts
- Support internal audits and quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend process improvements based on data analysis and quality metrics
- Help maintain and update quality-related documentation, including control plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and inspection reports
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of non-conformance issues and participate in corrective and preventive action plans
- Review engineering drawings to ensure proper specifications are met
- Work with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with quality management software, ERP systems, or CAD software is a plus
- Knowledge or coursework in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies
