Quant Trader

Summary

The Quant Trader Intern will work with trading teams at DV Group, learn proprietary methodologies, build and maintain trading models, oversee daily processes, analyze trade positions, identify new market opportunities, and be mentored by Senior Traders. The intern should have a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, a strong interest in trading and financial markets, high proficiency with Python, a strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts. The hourly pay range is $35.00-$60.00.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong interest in trading and financial markets
• Possess a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts

Preferred Qualifications

A high level of proficiency with Python is preferred
