Summary
Join PsiQuantum, a company building the world's first useful quantum computer, as a Quantum System Architect. This individual contributor role involves collaborating with various technical teams to analyze, evaluate, and improve the architectural design of our fault-tolerant quantum computer. You will extract predictive models, design functionality, develop evaluation methodologies, and work closely with other teams to create a consistent system architecture description. Requirements
- Masterβs degree or equivalent in EE, Physics, Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work effectively in a new area designing a first-of-its-kind system architecture
- Ability to work across domains and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Effective communication skills
Responsibilities
- Extract predictive models and perform analysis of architectural performance across multiple system views
- Design functionality and determine requirements for quantum aspects of the full system architecture
- Develop methodologies for evaluating implementation concepts and determining their feasibility
- Work closely with photonics, electronics, systems and architecture teams to capture a consistent, data-driven description of the system architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD
- Working knowledge of quantum computing/quantum mechanics
- Familiarity with systems engineering concepts
- Experience programming in Python
