This role is crucial in building and scaling the Rider Assistant network to meet growing demand, particularly during the back-to-school season. You will develop and execute strategies to efficiently onboard and support Rider Assistants, ensuring compliance and a seamless experience. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing direct support to Rider Assistants, creating training resources, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing comprehensive compliance protocols. You will also lead a high-performing team, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to special projects within Rider Assistant Supply Operations and the broader Marketplace.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing large-scale operational processes, within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills (Tableau, Gsheets) with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve shared operational goals and implement company-wide initiatives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide effective support and build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage projects and initiatives independently, driving them to successful completion
- Proven success in leading and managing high-performing operational teams, including hiring, training, and coaching front-line employees
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national and local strategies to efficiently build Rider Assistant supply and meet client demand, achieving back-to-school and monthly targets
- Leverage data-driven insights on efficiency metrics (cycle time, yield) to optimize Rider Assistant onboarding and growth, maximizing conversion rates and minimizing onboarding duration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and more) to ensure a successful launch and a seamless and compliant Rider Assistant experience
- Provide exceptional and timely direct support and troubleshooting to Rider Assistants, consistently meeting targets for CSAT and SLAs
- Create and maintain Rider Assistant training and support resources, using data on onboarding and engagement to drive improvements
- Monitor and analyze Rider Assistant metrics regularly to identify improvement areas and trends
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive compliance protocols in partnership with the Compliance team for Rider Assistants, ensuring adherence throughout their lifecycle
- Be ready to build and lead a high-performing team, operating as a "player-coach" by both supporting team members and directly contributing to the execution of supply initiatives
- Lead special projects, build, and manage vendor relationships within Rider Assistant Supply Operations and the broader Marketplace

- The salary range for this role in Los Angeles, CA is 75,000-85,000 per year
- This position is remote and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled
- Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location
- The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options
