This full-stack software engineer position offers a Monday-Friday schedule (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT) and requires 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. The role demands expertise in either frontend (React, TypeScript, Next.js) or backend (Java/Spring Boot, REST/GraphQL API) development, along with experience in database technologies and cloud services (AWS). Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Possess strong experience in full stack development, with a focus on either Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js OR Backend: Java/Spring Boot, REST/GraphQL API development
  • Have experience in designing backend data models, API contracts, or frontend architecture
  • Have experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Docker and containerized environments
  • Be comfortable working with or improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Java, Springboot, and related technologies
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend data models
  • Build responsive and user-friendly UIs
  • Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools
  • Work with PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases
  • Utilize Docker and containerized environments
  • Collaborate with team members to improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of frontend or backend architecture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with microservices architecture and serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda)
  • Be familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Have advanced testing practices including TDD/BDD, contract, and performance testing
  • Be proficient in CI/CD automation and monitoring tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Have broader AWS ecosystem knowledge (e.g., IAM, SQS, CloudFront) and cloud cost optimization strategies
