Summary
Join Recare, a technology partner for optimal discharge management, and work as a React Native Mobile Developer to enhance their patient transfer product. You will contribute to an ambitious roadmap, integrating with hospital systems and implementing end-to-end encryption. The role involves working on new AI initiatives and supporting various discharge types. You'll be part of a small team focused on automation and continuous improvement, owning your code from development to production. Requirements
- Have a CS degree or equivalent knowledge, and have been coding full time professionally for 4+ years
- Highly value empathy and have pride in your ability to contribute to a happy, engaged and respectful work environment
- Be comfortable manipulating standard data structures and be familiar with the modern e.g. ECMAScript standards
- Have production experience with React Native
- Be able to discuss some common performance pitfalls of React Native and possible workarounds
- Be excited to dive into more advanced topics, e.g., build pipelines, bundle analysis, caching mechanisms, etc
- Have experience with CI and testing frameworks
- Be up to date with best practices
- Proactively try to improve DX, the life of the team and of our customers - making better tooling for instance
- Want to become a technical owner of a part of our code base
- Support and actively interact with the different members and foster a positive growth environment
- Be proactive in the entire product development flow: asking questions, clarifying specs, raising doubts and engaging in meetings
- Have good written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Enhance the patient transfer product to help more and more patients find the best place after their hospital stay
- Support more types of discharges
- Integrate more and deeper with hospital systems
- Send and receive data using end-to-end encryption mechanisms
- Work on some new products that will have a strong impact on German healthcare
- Work on non "business" tasks
- Own the code you write until it gets to production
- Work with automated tests to ensure everything stays stable
