Summary

As a Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of outstanding accounts to mitigate company losses through negotiation and collection strategies. You are required to have collections experience in a B2C environment, excellent communication skills, and working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office, and databases.

Requirements

• Proven collections experience in a B2C environment (minimum 6 months)
• Excellent/Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office and databases

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of outstanding accounts to mitigate company losses
• Negotiating with customers and taking suitable arrangements to clear overdue amounts
• Monitoring and resolving unvalidated payments
• Optimizing collection queues and devising bespoke collections strategies
• Assisting customers with disputes and inquiries and reconciling payment history
• Initiating demand and reminder letters to all defaulting customers
• Following up calls to conduct recoveries through various means
• Escalating matters to the supervisor for approval
• Creating and resolving Jira tickets and manual recovery tasks
