Summary
Join Southern Roofing and Renovations as a Recruiter and play a vital role in our continued growth. This remote position, based out of Memphis, TN, requires a dedicated and efficient individual to identify, attract, and hire top talent. You will conduct interviews, manage our Applicant Tracking System, and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates. Collaboration with hiring managers, coordinating onboarding, and developing recruitment strategies are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recruitment experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of recruitment processes and employment laws. Requirements
- At least 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a preference for experience in the construction, roofing, or renovation industries
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with candidates and hiring managers at all levels
- A solid understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods
- A solid understanding of sourcing candidates
- Knowledgeable about employment-related laws and regulations
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Must be comfortable working with CST time zone
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily interviews to assess candidate suitability for various roles within the organization
- Efficiently manage and maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate information is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, responding to messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, and to ensure a clear understanding of the ideal candidate profiles
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing job offers, conducting background checks, and organizing orientation sessions
- Develop and implement strategies to improve our recruitment process and candidate experience
- Stay informed of trends and innovations in recruitment and talent acquisition
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Experience recruiting sales positions
- Experience in the construction, roofing, or renovation industries
- Experience working for a USA based company
- Knowledgeable about employment-related laws and regulations
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement
