Summary
Join Samsara's global Recruiting Operations team as a Contract Recruiting Coordinator based in Canada! This 6-month contract role involves managing all aspects of the interview process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. You will schedule interviews, compile interview packets, gather feedback, and assist with candidate tracking within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The ideal candidate possesses experience in scheduling, HR coordination, and working in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of scheduling and calendar management experience
- Have experience as an HR Coordinator or Recruiting Coordinator
- Have experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Have administrative experience for manager or executive-level individuals
- English fluency to communicate with team members and candidates, both written and verbally
- Must be based in Canada
- Must be willing to work flexible PST hours
Responsibilities
- Manage an effective coordination process for candidates and hiring managers that will enable scaling of our recruiting processes
- Schedule interviews through our ATS and utilize additional tools for scheduling and operations
- Compile interview packets, schedules and gather feedback from interviewers in a timely manner
- Arrange pre-screening and face to face interview arrangements and logistics between candidates and recruiters and managers
- Assisting the recruiters with tracking candidates throughout the life cycle of the hiring process including: posting jobs, maintaining candidate status within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and closing the job posts
- Assisting in the administration of the employee referral system partnering with payroll to ensure referrer receives referral award
- Support administrative and operational projects for the broader Recruiting Operations and Programs team
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraβs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience as an HR Coordinator or Recruiting Coordinator
- Have experience with ATS, ideally Greenhouse
- Be a whiz with organization and like building efficient processes for other people to use
- Have outstanding communication, organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- You embrace change with a great attitude and feel comfortable with ambiguity
