Requirements
- Qualifications in Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline, or industry experience
- Solid marketing experience
- Proven track record in directly managing a product line
- Experience working with diverse, global teams
- Commercial acumen in a product/services chemical business
- Global customer and competition experience around chemical treatment products
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic visions
- Robust process and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional product portfolio strategies across all application areas
- Participate in product line Centres of Excellence to share regional input and embrace best practices
- Deliver key performance indicators for regional and global leadership
- Generate Voice of Business and Voice of Customer insights and conduct gap analysis for global product management
- Coordinate regional technical projects aligned with global product managers
- Identify and explore untapped market opportunities or areas of potential growth. These could include gaps in the market, emerging trends, or new applications for existing products, all of which will fuel our innovation and drive business growth
- Collaborate with regional teams to gather market insights
- Participate in and contribute to regional leadership team meetings
- Act as a conduit between global product management and regional teams, providing customer feedback and regional input on global initiatives
- Work closely with sourcing, supply chain, and technology to optimise regional fulfilment
