Registered Dietitian

Summary

Join Foodsmart, the world’s largest telenutrition and foodcare solution, as a Registered Dietitian Partner (RD). In this role, you will provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) via remote sessions to patients, utilizing Foodsmart's digital platform to assist them in accessing and using SNAP benefits, affording groceries, and building healthier eating habits. You will document care in an electronic medical record, manage a panel of clients, and communicate effectively with patients through HIPAA-compliant methods. This position requires active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian, at least one state licensure, and a commitment of at least 1 year. Foodsmart reimburses for additional licensure in other states. The role demands a minimum of 15 hours weekly availability during peak hours and a commitment to at least 6 follow-up visits per patient, aiming for an 80% or higher Net Promoter Score (NPS). Requirements

• Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and Licensed Dietitian
• Must have at least one state licensure, and willingness to apply for additional licensure in 1-3+ other states (reimbursed by Foodsmart)
• Ability to work in the U.S
• High speed internet and a smart phone
• You have at least 15 hours of weekly availability for patients within our highest demand hours (6am-8pm PT/ 9am-11pm EST)
• You are willing to commit at least 1 year as a 1099 with Foodsmart
• You are completing at least 6 follow-up visits with your patients
• You are receiving an NPS of 80% and above
• You find value in developing lasting relationships with your patients to support them towards sustainable behavior change and improved health outcomes
• Note: our RD contractors are required to carry professional liability insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) via remote sessions to patients with a variety of health and lifestyle needs
• Document care in electronic medical record according to Nutrition Care Process
• Assist patients in getting the most utility out of Foodsmart's digital platform
• Manage a panel of clients/patients with a variety of chronic health conditions and backgrounds
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients/patients through HIPAA-compliant video calls and electronic messaging

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual (native level) language capabilities
• Multiple active state licenses or certifications
• Experience delivering services via a telehealth platform

Benefits

• $52.80 for a 1-hour visit; $13.20 per 15-minute unit for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Most of our visits are scheduled for one hour
• $57.20 for those bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese ($14.30 per unit)
• $52.80 - $57.20 an hour
