Summary

Join WorkFocus Australia's multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals as a remote National Rehabilitation Consultant. Help clients regain independence and achieve their goals by providing excellent customer care. Responsibilities include conducting remote vocational assessments, identifying return-to-work barriers, liaising with stakeholders, and designing and monitoring return-to-work programs. The role requires an Australian-recognized degree in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling, plus relevant registration or membership. A current driver's license and vehicle are also necessary. Requirements

  • Australian recognised degree qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Full or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor is mandatory
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
  • A current driver license and access to their own vehicle
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking remote vocational assessments
  • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
