Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in either a development or prior release engineering role, with practical experience working with at least one build system (GitHub Enterprise/BitRise preferred)
  • Strong experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Driven multiple releases of production-level code on mobile platforms (Android/Apple) with experience in owning and coordinating ITT/TestFlight UAT releases, as well as practical experience in web releases
  • Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting build and release systems under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially around documentation
  • Ability to work with customer-facing tasking to own/drive retailer partner demo sessions
  • Able to thrive in a self-driven environment
  • Have a high bar for quality results and the technical discipline to get us there

Responsibilities

  • Manage, review, and update (as needed) our current release infrastructure to build & release infrastructure to ensure our internal teams and retail partners have an effective and efficient pipeline with which to work
  • Evangelize and support automated testing and monitoring to establish high build reliability and quality in concert with our DevOps and SDET teams
  • Take initiative to monitor the health of our JIRA project infrastructure and work with project management to utilize automation for release ticket tracking and updates
  • Create and manage a release calendar and wiki, coordinating with stakeholders around key dates in the software testing and release cycle
  • Monitor applications throughout the release process, including production monitoring (via alerts) post-release
  • Other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working with GitHub Enterprise for build and release management
  • 1+ years of experience working with Kotlin/KMP in an automated build validation system

Benefits

  • $140,000 - $160,000 a year
