Summary

Join our team as a Release Engineer-Lead to design, implement, and manage build and release pipelines using Ant, Maven, and Eclipse. With 5+ years of experience in build and release engineering, you'll automate build, deployment, and release processes, integrate CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, and utilize Docker for containerization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in build and release engineering
• Proficiency with build tools such as Ant and Maven
• Experience with Eclipse IDE and managing P2 Eclipse builds
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD automation
• Experience with Docker for containerization
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for learning new technologies and industry trends

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage build and release pipelines using Ant, Maven, and Eclipse
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and reliability
• Integrate and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows using Jenkins
• Utilize Docker for containerization of build and deployment environments
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues
• Maintain and optimize existing build and release processes, continually seeking areas for improvement
• Research and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the build and release process
• Ensure that build and release processes are aligned with industry best practices and company standards
• Provide documentation and training to team members on build and release processes and tools
