Summary
Join FLASH, a leader in smart city development, as a Core Engineer. You will play a key role in developing scalable APIs and services, intricate pricing models, and transaction processing systems. Collaborate with internal and external teams to digitize parking and EV charging access. This position requires experience with Ruby on Rails and a strong computer science background. Requirements
- Strong capability in building scalable systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to shipping clean, reliable, and maintainable code
- 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, and familiarity with Go
- Profound Computer Science background, preferably holding a relevant degree
- Experience with technologies such as Postgres, Redis, AWS, Linux, Terraform, Chef, and Docker
- Currently residing in the United States, as this position requires local presence
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable APIs and services using Ruby and Rails, and occasionally Go
- Implement complex pricing models and manage transaction processing
- Collaborate with teams to support the digital transformation of parking and EV charging access
- Utilize a diverse tech stack including Postgres, Redis, AWS (SQS, Dynamodb, EC2, ELB, RDS), Linux, Terraform, Chef, and Docker
