Azure Data Factory Engineer

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure MSBI (Microsoft Business Intelligence)
• Strong expertise in SQL writing for SQL Server, SQL Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake
• Hands-on experience with SQL and T-SQL scripting within SQL Server environments
• Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Factory for building and managing data pipelines
• Experience with data partitioning and performance tuning in data warehouse environments
• Familiarity with Agile principles, processes, and collaborative tools

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient SQL and T-SQL scripts in SQL Server, SQL Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake environments to support various data-driven applications
• Optimize data partitioning and performance for data warehousing solutions
• Collaborate with teams in an Agile environment, leveraging a strong understanding of Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks
• Ensure the integrity and security of data within the data infrastructure
• Utilize Azure Data Factory to orchestrate and automate data workflows and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with data transformation and integration within cloud-based data platforms
