Backend Developer

Join our team as a Backend Developer in the Connection Wizard project and contribute to improving user experience through problem-solving, brand design implementation, and software engineering expertise.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills, applied with a solution-focused attitude
• Accurate data entry skills with the ability to adhere to and follow standard processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English is a must, German knowledge is an advantage
• Advanced skills of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
• Programming language skills: basic TypeScript and Vue.JS knowledge, CSS, basic Java script knowledge
• Experience in designing the user interface of websites or web-applications
• Ability to perform usability / user experience testing
• Java 8/11 Core, Collections framework, Stream API, Persistence API
• Spring (Boot, Data, Security)
• TypeScript
• Vue 2 (migrations to Vue3 in the future)
• Software engineering experience
• Software systems design and architecture
• Motivation and ability to learn
• Database design
• UI and UX design
• Asynchronous and functional programming concepts
• Software testing experience (backend, API, UI)
